Dorothy Norris Moses (1931-2021)

Dorothy was born in Thomas, Oklahoma  and was a self taught artist who discovered her love for art in her 30’s after her father passed away. She pursued art lessons by working with local artists as well as attending workshops with the Oklahoma watercolor society. An encounter with established artist Robert Kaupelis unlocked Dorothy’s creativity inspiring her to be expressive, bold and vibrant with her works. Dorothy was versatile in her art and experimented with many mediums including ceramics and textiles. Dorothy shared her talent through teaching workshops at colleges and art centers.
